I haven't been updating my blog regularly lately. life for me these days has been
1) being sick
2) at home
3) playing with my nephews
4) being a ditzy little girl
5) studying for my finals
I wouldn't say 'mugging' for my finals. i haven't really been mugging. maybe's cos i'm sick and i'm not in the mood to mug. or maybe's cos i'm home and home has too many distractions like nephews and such. in any case... this is the first time that i'm not seriously mugging for finals. i'm seriously in trouble and since i'm aware of that i should seriously start mugging now. arghharghharghh.
Today's tuesdays and i'm back in hall. hopefully will be able to study more efficiently. =) oh but i always have this fear when i'm in my hostel room. i'm constantly worried that the ceiling fan will drop on my head. it's really a very relevant fear you know. the fan doesn't look 100% attached to the ceiling at all and as it spins it sways very slightly.
Remember we had ceiling fans too back in the days when we were in school? people always get quite worried that the fans will drop on their heads too, although it never happened. i remember an intelligent friend of mine used to say that if you are sitting directly below the fan you're safe cos if the fan really drops, it'll spin to somewhere else and drop there, and not directly below. and being as intelligent as she is, i used to feel very insured sitting directly below a swaying fan.
But in this case my room is so damn small, wherever it spins to i'll sure kena.
I recently encountered a person's blog which got my big brain ticking. she was wondering if her boyfriend still keeps in contact with his ex, whom she addresses as 'that bitch'. i thought woah what did she do to you. but she didn't really elaborate on that.
Assuming that his ex is just a regular ex, why wouldn't she want her boyfriend to contact her anymore?
How much does it reflect on a guy who decides to cut off all contacts with a girl whom he used to care and love deeply and vice versa?
A lot.... badly.
When i encounter such sad people around it makes me reflect upon myself.
Hmmm my entry today has quite a substantial length. makes up for the lag these days. and someone/s kept coming to my blog by searching this particular name: mingui. haha... and i always wonder if it's the man himself, looking to see what others are blogging about him.
Other prominent keywords that people have searched for in blogs, which led them to my blog: rag chair, christina kang, cheeguan, jianning, huatz, a poem for pearline, pride soundtrack, kent ridge, eguanas, kr e blk... and loads more.
On a last note, if you're interested in reading what others have to say about you in their blogs as well, you could go to a search engine, limit the search to 'blogspot.com' only (the most popular host for blogs) and search your name. alternatively, you could go technorati.com because apparently it'll only bring you results of blogs particularly. the most popular search engine that people use to find names on my blog would be technorati and msn search. yeah. go on.
